Hey everyone.

Today I am going to talk about source material.

What is source material?
Based on free dictionary , it can be defined as publications from which information is obtained or a document ( or organisation) from which information is obtained.

There are many ways to find the right source material. The primary ways is by search engine such as google and yahoo. This kind of ways would be more easier for user to find informations and source materials.

The second ways to obtained the information is by using the subject portal such as UiTM library. It will list down some of the informations that has been enter by the user. The choices of knowledge is based on the internet.

Some of the information that we need to find need to be key in by the keyword. But to get the relevant info, you need to narrow down the keyword as the internet have many kind of information. You also need to choose reliable website as some of them are not irrelevant at all.

How to know the website that you visit is trusted one ? Make sure the website is ended by .edu or .gov and so on. This website is surely trusted.

So choose your reliable website to get your source material. Have fun searching guys !

Hey everyone !

Lets talk about Plagiarism on this beautiful Monday.

What is plagiarism actually ? Well many people thought plagiarism is copying another's work or pass off idea. But according to MERRIAM-WEBSTER online Dictionary plagiarism is to use other's work without crediting to the original source or it can defined present as new and original an idea or product derived from an existing source.

In other words, plagiarism is an act of bluffing. It involves both stealing someone else's idea.

There's a lot of type of plagiarism which include Clone, CTRL-C, find-replace, Remix, Re-tweet, Recycle,Hybrid, Mash-up,404 error and Aggregator.

Actually, most of cases about plagiarism can be avoided but by citing the sources. I know it kinda hard for us especially students who need to do a lot of assignments and thesis. Sometimes, plagiarism occur because the student is lacking of time in settling their works so they just copy all the sources as long as their work is done and can be pass up to the lecture.

So for me plagiarism should be avoided because it is not fair for the people who own the originality of the sources and this cases might lead to laziness community in the future
